Our Story

Busy Bubbles was founded by a passionate mother-and-daughter duo, built on creativity, care, and a love for thoughtful design. With family at the heart of everything we do, we create pieces that bring warmth, character, and comfort into the home.

Dévon received her BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture from Griffith College Dublin but has always been drawn toward furniture and product design, embracing a holistic and mindful approach to creativity. After the birth of her daughter, Ava, Dévon fell in love with life as a stay-at-home mum. During this time, mindfulness became an essential part of her daily life. Candles offered a sense of calm and helped her stay present, providing gentle relief from anxiety. However, many store-bought candles and incense caused physical discomfort, which led Dévon to question what was really in them.

After extensive research, she discovered a safer, more natural alternative and began creating all-natural soy wax candles. Crafting, design, and candle making have become deeply fulfilling practices, allowing her to create with intention while appreciating life’s quiet moments. Ava also loves getting involved — from choosing scents (Pistachio & Marshmallow being a firm favourite) to helping pick designs and packaging — making Busy Bubbles a true family endeavor.

Our Craft

Our signature collection features hand-poured soy wax candles, infused with luxurious fragrances made using vegan-friendly, paraben-free oils from our trusted scent partner, Purescented. Each candle is thoughtfully designed to be as beautiful to the eye as it is to the senses, creating a calming ambiance without compromise.

Busy Bubbles is more than just candles. We also create unique home interior pieces designed to bring personality and charm into your space. Led by Dévon, this side of the business reflects her passion for interiors — from furniture refurbishment and pottery to bespoke design — with every piece made with creativity, care, and love.
